i’d like to warn him, that he wouldn’t understand, that i can’t feel anything he might be interested in, because i’m surrounded by a wall, an invisible wall made of memories i cant lose.
An interview with Cody Ross of Priestess NYC, a luxury sportswear line he created. Cody is a regular contributor at i-D magazine, a former hedge fund guy who exited the world of finance for the fashion universe - and can you blame him? His designs are avant-garde, quirky, and dare i say, fierce. Ross constructs his line mainly out of his West Village townhouse, and the result is very downtown punk, futuristic, the best kind of weird. Check out his line for yourself at www.priestessnyc.com

Through lots of fun experimentation and risk-taking… .Then stores started buying it up.
- KK: What advice would you give to those aspiring to be a part of the fashion industry?
Get used to rejection. And don’t drink or use drugs! Have a cheery attitude!
